Sage nearly got swept away in a massive slide he triggered this year while filming with TGR in Alaska.
I’m glad Sage was alright, but I’m ready to see more angles of this.
I’m pretty sure that shot was from a few seasons ago, or Sage set off an identical slide this past winter. Not very likely. Pretty insane slide, none-the-less.
It’s obviously wind loaded, and the way he’s cutting across and digging in just above the convex / cornice makes me question if he was trying to trigger that on purpose.
Looks like it broke bigger and higher than he may have anticipated.
Testing a slope above a convex roll is what smart skiers do. If you really think he was trying to start that slide, you’re arrogant.
ps- no s#!% its windloaded
def. from a few years ago.
way to go unofficial. a people magazine article from 1984 and some old footage of an avy. knocking the cover off the ball!
That was footage from TGR’s Anomaly but with a different soundtrack
