How, exactly, did they get the rope onto the vehicle? Pretty crucial step, IMO. Wondering if it wasn’t completely submersed when they started, but in order to get that frame under the vehicle, they busted the ice and let the truck sink.

it wasn’t a frame it was a skid to pull the truck onto. I was wondering how they hooked the cable to the car though….???

Wow. Those guys sure have an efficient way to recover one beer from the inside of a car under the ice. I’m guessing they just release the car back it the ice now to populate another beer…?

why would you save that car it’s not even built right, the steering wheel is on the wrong side. stupid.

The car was built to be driven in countries like Ireland and England, where you drive on the left side of the street instead of the right. That puts the driver closer to the center of the road which allows for a better sight line. That’s not stupid; it’s pretty logical, though why some of the world drives on the right and some on the left is beyond me.

This is just a guess, but maybe they left the engine running for an hour and the ice under the front melted?
