I thought about it, but then realized people would want me to replicate it. Before this, my only flip was when crashing my first time ever snowboarding. I’m all about keeping realistic to lowered expectations.
hike up and have to get my pole on a pow day because i didnt put my pole straps on and put my pole into a tree i think not. Put poll straps on and not run into trees, even if i do arm generally comes out of the loop fine just fine, put your straps on
Karma why would you drop your pole if it didn’t hook up on something. Maybe you just wear your pole straps because you cant hold onto your pole. Just wait tell you hit a cliff and right on the take off that pole hooks up on a tree and yanks ya back. Its a great time!
I have only let go of my poles once during a crash since I stopped using them. I keep a tight grip when falling so my fingers aren’t exposed and prone to breaking. They are just straps after all, not like I’m out there with no brakes on my skis. Not having the straps around my wrists doesn’t endanger anyone else and reduces the danger to myself.
One of the few times I have used the straps since I gave them up my basket got caught as I was going over a lip. Thankfully the basket ripped off and I just ended up being spun around in the air for 15 feet rather than separating my shoulder. I’d much rather have to hike up a short distance to retrieve my pole than risk injury; and I’ve done just that many times as the pole was ripped violently from my hand.
use your got dam pole straps man. look like a chump with those things flappin around…”oh they will get caught in a tree”-no. no they wont. if you aint a total rook, they wont get caught
haha yeah the chesty mount makes every shot look like you are a total trunk rider. Stand the F up! “make sure you put extra wax on my tails, i plan on leaning back and hauling some ass. sharpen up my third edge while youre at it, need that control when im crushing trunk turns through the back bowls”
r big n round
I would have lied and owned that like it was easy.
It is easy

Chaotically coordinated bro
Chestys suck balls. No one wants to see your arms, knees, poles straps all over the place.
