The Hakuba Powder Lodge is the place to stay for freeskiers in Hakuba, Japan. If you don’t believe me, take a look at the quiver here:

There are only 16 rooms in the Powder Lodge, but there are 80 pairs of skis and snowboards in the drying room. Thats 5 pairs of skis per room.

At a glance, 95% of the skis here are over 100mm underfoot, and 50% are over 125mm underfoot.

A few ski companies represented in the drying room: Birdos, Coreupt, Down, DPS, Igneous, Kingswood, Moment, Praxis, PMGear, and Ski Logik. Not too shabby.

Have you ever seen a quiver that can beat the one at the Hakuba Powder Lodge?

Maybe you haven’t been to The Hostel in in Jackson Hole. Needless to say, I love looking at a burly wall of skis.

If girth matters, the Powder Lodge wins. Though I agree (^Matt Baker?), Hostel has a very solid quiver.
