This March I spent a little over two weeks in Switzerland on a film trip with the Meatheads. While the original plan was to chase storms around the Alps, we ended up staying in Schwanden and exploring the Glarus Valley the entire time. Why? Conditions elsewhere in the Alps were no better, we we didn’t have any competition for first tracks, and the family we stayed with in Schwanden was amazing. Thank you so much to the entire Ortlieb family! Sami and David are incredibly talented skiers, Felix was kind and patient with us, and Ursi should be sainted. Thanks to all of their friends and relatives that also helped us out!
I had a ton of footage from the travels and valley and really wanted to show more than just skiing, so I hope you manage to get through the first half. Second half is same ‘ol helmet mounted GoPro footie…but in Switzerland, so it’s cool!
