These photos are from an actual Polar Bear Attack in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. These are actual photographs of a polar bear attacking a man.  The pictures were taken while people watched and were able to do nothing to stop the attack!  Reports from the local newspaper say that the victim will make a full recovery.

Going in for the kill…

The full vicious sequence of the attack…

If this did or didn’t put a smile on your face this morning then you should send it along to your mom, grandma, girlfriend or that cute girl in accounting that you have been wanting to impress. They will love it and you will look really sweet for thinking of them. You are welcome.

After having been to Churchill waiting for the ice to form, I can assure you this would never happen. The mother bear would quite frankly eat that guy. They have a full on “bear prison” where they put the 50 or so “problem” bears until winter, when they send them out on the ice.

Here is a REAL story about Polar Bear Attack, and the irresponsible actions taken.
    http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2011/12/23/Hunters-kill-attacking-polar-bear-cubs/UPI-90741324644888/

“Your” polar bear cub pictures are old evidence of how humans should NOT interact with wildlife. No good can come from this type of behavior, teaching polar bear cubs that humans are Not a threat. It is irresponsible to portray potentially dangerous wildlife, (when it is older), as “Cute”.
A “visitor” (insert your favorite substitute term for “visitor”….Gaper, Citiot, Touron, etc.) to South Lake Tahoe asked a photographer if she could “pet the bears” that were feeding on Taylor Creek last October…
Observing Wildlife in Nature, without interacting or interfering is the preferred choice here.
We actually have our very own IDIOTS living here in Lake Tahoe that think it is “okay” to feed wildlife, including Bears.

Bear Education is available on the Bear League’s web site.

      Getting a little agro bro?

It appears the pictures where taken in some sort of a zoo type of enclosure.

Here is 1 great example or what could be happening.

Mother Polar bear may have abandoned her cub or possibly even poached, and has now been rescued and is being cared for by individuals who know more about bears than you could ever learn from reading your National Geographics.

In less than one year, that godless killing machine will grow up and gladly maul your a$$ and shred it to confetti. Polar bears don’t attack people because they are territorial, nor do they need the food. Polar bears attack humans because they think its funny and they want to drink our sweet, sweet tears. Polar bears: Natures A-holes.

The Toronto Zoo has a healthy new addition! A new polar bear cub has recently been debuted and they are holding a contest to name the new little cub.
