For some strange reason dubstep music is taking over the world. If you haven’t heard it in the clubs then you certainly have heard it in countless video edits. Otherwise, you might just hear some dubstep every now and again resinating across the airwaves; this is excess dubstep noise pollution coming from Boulder, CO. Dubstep has penetrated the ski industry and seems to go hand-in-hand with every tall tee you see on the slopes. It’s safe to say that privileged skiing white kids have made dubstep their own. You can assume that dubstep music is fairly simple because a dubstep artist’s instrument is only his MacBook Pro, but do you know how dubstep is really made? Here is a historically accurate account of how the music we know as dubstep is conceived.

Dubstep is probably the most overrated artist out there.
The overuse of distorted bass is obnoxious and drives me nuts
