Skier runs for his life from a moose.

On Monday, we brought you a video of a skier getting attacked by a Porcupine at Alta (Porcupine Attacks Skier at Alta). Today, we have a video of a skier at Sugarbush, Vermont getting chased by Moose!

Moose at Sugarbush VT chasing skier. The person being chased is an adult not a child. He is approx 6 feet tall so that’s one big damn Moose!!!

That moose was all over the mountain through the holidays. I saw it on the side of the road Sunday night and it was MASSIVE. It chased one of the mountain directors down 5 chair poles on castlerock the week before

I was at sugarbush last weekend and driving in to the resort at about 6pm, we saw that same moose from the car.
MASSIVE is absolutely correct. Bigger than the moose I’ve seen in Wyoming. This guy was just HUGE.

East coast, west coast rivalry continues. WY- “We get more snow, our cliffs are bigger. And we have a tram.” VT- “Our moose are bigger. We also have a tram.”

I was there… this moose was all over, reeking havoc… all week long. I think this was actually taken about 10 minutes after we got onto that lift. They shut that part of the mountain down, and did so intermittently throughout that day and the next.
    Nuts!

If you leave him alone, stay away and don’t try to hang around and take photos hopefully he won’t have to be dealt with aggresively. In other words don’t be stupid and get the moose shot leave it alone if you see it. Get away form the area that it’s in and hopefully once it loses it antlers, which should be soon, it will be less agressive and move into some thicker woods that don’t inhibit its movement as much. Right now it values its open spaces because of its huge rack.

That’s nothing. I was in Mammoth and I was assaulted by an LA double breasted kitten cougar. They can be so naughty.

If the moose was at Killington, they would have shot him already for having to close a trail like Escapade, never mind 1/2 the mountain!
