Really hoping this guy is found at a buddies house watching a ball game. Good vibes being sent.
Hope it goes well with the search and he’s ok!
missing two weeks….. I hope he’s ok…. doesnt sound good
Thoughts and prayers going out for this young man!
has this been on the news up there?
1. Thoughts and prayers for Boris’ safe return.
2. Don’t ski alone.
3. Tell someone where you are going and when you’re supposed to be back.
4. Have fun and be safe!
Everyone, as of this evening a helmet and pole has been located but they are trying to confirm it belongs to Boris. S&R is asking anyone not associated with the search to avoid the search area in order to reduce the amount of scent contamination. There are additional teams going into the area tomorrow.
thanks for this update John.
They know to look at his google+ page to see pictures of him wearing/using this equipment ? (Forgive me if I am being obvious.) The other thing I noticed is that he is a fantastic photographer and a rockhound, so he would have been heading towards natural vistas/viewpoints to get a “great picture” and perhaps also if there is anything really unique about the area in terms of what a geologist would ogle, he might have been scrambling up towards it and then something gave way.
2 skiers who survived a May 23, 2005 avalanche on Mt Dana, but one of them lost a lot of his gear

Two weeks! Why’d it take so long to start a search?
Hate to be the one to post this. RIP borris. Condolences to all friends and family. At least its reassuring to know he went out doing what he loved in a magical place
