The moon collides with the top of the Marte on occasion
Las Lenas, largely considered to be South America’s Freeride Capital, has big, rugged, simply breath taking mountains. It’s easy to get lost in their scale and only the occasional skier on the horizon reminds you of the magnitude. Last season, in a week we saw nearly everything Lenas has to offer, from pow to wind to warmth, the mountain is constantly under change. Here’s some of what went down:

Rolling hills round Lenas

Las Lenas Peak, the dominating feature of valley, catching some wind and light

When the wind blows, it howls. That be snow not wind. Can you spot the humans??

When the valley is graced by clouds, the sunsets ain’t half bad

The one and only Black Ninja, with terrain to-boot

And it does occasionally get windy down to the valley floor around Las Lenas

Bootin’ it through the storm

Clouds split while riding up the Marte

Looking toward Chamonix Chute and Entre Rios, certainly some skiing to be had

Las Lenas is surrounded by impressive, fortress like walls
Stoookee!
