Lake Tahoe adaptive skier Grant Korgan just pushed his way to the South Pole.  250,000 pushes, to be exact.

Squaw Valley USA will be having a Homecoming Party for Grant Korgan tonight at Bar One at Squaw Valley from 6-9pm.

The Push Team will be there:  Grant Korgan, Keoki Flagg, Tom Day.  There will be slideshow and video presentations.

$15 tickets at the door or at www.squawvalleyinstitute.org.

Appetizers and no-host bar.  Funds raised to go High Fives Foundation

These guys had an epic expedition out on the Antarctic continent with temps as low as -70F, winds up to 125mph, and altitudes above 9,000 feet.

Grant Korgan is an avid snowmobiler, skier, world-class kayaker, adventurer, nanomechanics professional and husband. On March 5, 2010, while snowmobiling in the Sierra backcountry, the Lake Tahoe native fractured his L1 vertebrae, and suddenly added the world of spinal cord injury recovery to his list of activities.

Come out and support our local badasses and support a good cause.
