precipitation forecast

On Saturday & Sunday we had temperatures of 74F and 73F.  By Thursday, we’re gonna be looking at lake level snow.  Spring in California is “Cybil.”

Tahoe is going to see another spring storm this week.  The storm starts tomorrow and goes thru Thursday night.  We are gonna get rain at first, then snow.  There will be snow down to Lake Level by Thursday.  3-6 inches are forecasted above 7,000 feet with -9” forecasted above 8,000 feet.

“Above 7000 ft. we could see a few inches accumulate on the mountains Thursday.  Totals of 3-6 inches above 7000 ft. and 6-9 above 8000 ft. are possible by Friday morning, and maybe 9-12 on the highest peaks along the crest.” – TahoeWeatherDiscussion.com

Just when you think it’s over, one more storm comes thru and gives us a mini refresh.  This could be enough to get the Chimney open again.  How melted out is that thing now?

Are you still into it?  Are you gonna come up this weekend to ski the last weekend at Squaw?

This could be very interesting…and could make for a great closing weekend. I’m stoked for the snow and kinda bummed that this is the end.

That’s Seven Springs that reopened yesterday(one day only) for one glorious day
of skiing. 1 lift, 1 trail + Foggy Goggle bar.

    Latest day ever in PA.
