Jon Olsson & Ted Ligety Car Jumping Video | Who Says Ski Racers Don’t Know How to Have a Good Time?

Ski racers (yes, we’ll consider Jon Olsson a ski racer for the purpose of this post) have the reputation of being reserved, spandex-clad, and generally the antithesis of freeskiers/riders. Apparently, not so- at least for this crew. Check out this footage from last month’s New Zealand car jumping session. The apparently annual event goes down amongst this crew every year during training camps in the southern hemisphere. The idea is pretty simple/redneck: buy junk cars and drive them as fast as possible off of dirt jumps. I gotta hand it to them, these guys aren’t afraid of getting hurt cross training. Well done boys, well done.
