This is Botaoshi, a Japanese game played in military schools. From the looks of it, it’s capture the flag meets red rover, with some rugby thrown in and a bit of ‘never give up’ Japanese spirit. Yeah, I think that’s actually what Botaoshi translates to. It looks like a fun school-yard game, minus the getting kicked in the face parts. So, next time you go to Japan to ski some JaPOW, then make sure to catch a glimpse of this goofy game.

This might be how Kenjiro Matsuo toughens up in order to send Femur Rock and countless other huge cliffs.
