I wanna start by saying I LOVE JAPAN. The people are nice, the powder is deep and the food is excellent.
I was stoked this year because I got to hop the pond and help out with UnofficialJapan dot com. We spent six weeks in the land of the rising sun – the first half in Hakuba then finished our trip on the North Island. Hakuba is where you go if you want long lines that no one skis. Niseko is where you go if you want deep pow mixed with Aussi tourists (kinda like whistler). We also got to hang at Rusutsu (the Disney Land Ski Resort of Japan) .
Can’t wait for next year!
