Friday afternoon marked the 3rd annual 3,000 words event at Fifty Fifty Brewing in Truckee, CA. It’s said that a picture tells the story of a 1,000 words and fittingly there were 3 categories. Winter, Human Power, and Shane/Eagle. Local photographers donated framed photos which were silently auctioned off to support 3 local charities. High Fives, Biking for a Better World, and the Shane McConkey Foundation were recipients of checks thanks to the support.

There was tons of food, a good crowd, and Silver Boombox Thief on the 1′s and 2′s at 10pm. If you didn’t make it out, I would definitely encourage you to attend this event next year. Great times for a great cause.
