From the Unofficial Inbox: Since you guys cover alot of action sports stuff as well as local tahoe stuff, thought you might enjoy this.
Local redbull athlete had a bad crash. He is one of the top riders in the world in this sport and shows you how hard it can really be. Video is from his compound he owns in Gardnerville
While filming with Paul Basagoitia on his property, the unexpected came true. While throwing down some intense shots, Paul shows us first hand how dangerous this sport can be! Now in the process of rehabilitating his wrist, Paul is determined to come back 10x Harder and show you why he is the best in his sport.

holy fuck ouch
Uhhh, Break?
ok if you can afford that sort of cable rig and 3-axis head why are you shooting on a DSLR??
That’s not a cable rig, it’s a remote controlled helicopter. DSLR because it’s lighter weight, thus the heli is more maneuverable. One guy pilots the heli while the other guy operates the camera, using a wireless live-view feed.
I’m guessing you worked with this shoot. Why not a C300, Epic, Scarlett or F3. Maybe I’m just sick of the DSLR era and can’t stand them anymore. As a professional AC (wish i was a pro skier) I just believe there are so many better options than a DSLR in terms of weight/size/sensor.
but great shots nonetheless!!!
bas is the man
