“This is a skiers mountain, and a skiers town ya know, and that’s what we’re all about”. Former Telluride Town Councilman Ratsa Stevie from the Greg Stump cult classic, Blizzard of Ahhh’s

You’ll hear some of Rasta Stevie’s “pro-conscious development” platform in this clip, as well as some Irie roots-reggae, with a splash of deep Telluridian powder. Some ripping bump skiing, one-piece suits, and a load of neon are also highlights. LONG LIVE FUNKY SKI  CULTURE!!!

Kennett! Keeping it funky in T-ride is the name of the game. Sadly that edge has waned a bit over the years, nice to see it again. Good find.

Rasta Stevie was a visionary. Maybe we should bring him to Tahoe to talk with KSL and Vail Resorts about our communities future?

    Aloha ahiahi ia oukou,
Am I listening? Yes of course I am. How’s it my friends?
How do I start this, Rasta Stevie… Hell, I’ll just jump in with both feet…
The best thing that could happen to Kirkwood just did.. We are now on the map, financially stable, capitally charged and ready to take what has been the most under capitalized resort in Tahoe to the next level! Just imagine a Kirkwood with paved parking lots, Upgraded High- Speed quads, a grooming fleet that has the ability to create parks, high angle groom and provide a better on mountain experience. Look we have the mountain & we all love it. Bud & Dick created the dream, it is now up to our team to complete the painting. We have the chance to be what we have always striven to be. The best in the West. Bud & Dick had a dream, we have the soul & now we have joined a family that is willing to complete the painting. Am I positive here, yes I am, have I sold my soul… Absolutely not! Are we poised to be a real player in the Tahoe region yes, Are we going to be overcrowded hell no…
    Stay Thirsty my friends,
    Coop

awh~ preboarders, back when you could find a bump line that wasn’t all hacked up!!! Back when it actually took skill to keep the tips up in the powder, not just any fool could be out there tracking it up!

    Dear Unofficial Networks…
I love “Blizzard”, and Stevie’s rant, but Kirkwood locals don’t need a website, or a white rasta to tell us how to stay true to our mountain. Thanks for your concern though…
