Steezy McBreezy likes to ski switch. Image: Shred Sauce

A new online flash video game has popped up for your procrastinating needs. It’s called Shred Sauce and, as raunchy so eloquently  points out, joins its predecessors like gnarshmallow and jibbin in the free online ski gaming world. This game comes from Malcolm Arcand on Newschoolers. The game has its glitches, sometimes you’ll end up upside down underneath the snow, and your skier is extremely…bouncy, but it’s still great fun and can help hold you over for the next 3+ months until your mountain opens up.

The Montreal Expos sweatshirt is pretty steezy as well (I may have gone with the classic Hartford Whalers Sweatshirt, if we’re going with extinct sports franchises). Here are the controls:

Keyboard:

Left/right arrow keys to turn/spin
Down arrow to brake
G,H to lincoln
Z,X,C,V,B,A,S,D,F to grab with the right hand
R to restart
P to look over the other shoulder
Space to accelerate. Release to pop

Another plus, you can use a Playstation or Xbox controller to play the games.

Ok my powder loving gamers, get out there and shred some sauce, post your comments/reviews.

I’m actually good friends with Adam, the guy who created Gnarshmallow. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t inspired by his game. The kept the keyboard controls pretty much the same with a few changes.

To connect the ps3 controller. You only need to put the usb in computer and the other end of it in the controller?

If you’re on a Mac v10.6 and up. On a PC you’ll need to install the Motionjoy driver. I have a link for it on the shredsauce.com.

      Thanks for the article!
