DOG is a must while in Jackson. This little hole in the wall pumps out some of the best food in Jackson. Looking for a cheap, tasty breakfast or lunch? This is your place. For a mere 6 bucks, you can get the best breakfast burrito ever known to man. Everything else on the menu is under 8 dollars and I have never been disappointed. A couple other favorites are the Philly cheesesteak or the Hamburgeusa Argentina.
DOG opens at 7am, so it is a great place to stop before hitting the mountains for the day. The large American portions will keep you charged four hours. It is open to the mid afternoon, so it is also great place to get some greasy food in the belly to help with recovery from the night before. There is also a great seating area with heat lamps in town, that makes eating outside enjoyable even in lousy weather.
DOG has two locations. One in the center of town on Glenwood, and one in the gas station in Wilson. Calling ahead in town is a good idea. 307-733-4422. Just showing without an order can be a long wait. In Wilson there are a bunch of pre made food that makes it very easy for a quick grab and go.
