    I like that you can dry them without shrinking them. Otherwise they seem like most other high quality wool socks.

    Nowhere does it say that they’re better than Smartwool? As far as I’m concerned, the only thing better than smartwool is on-sale-smartwool.

        Ok, here is the deal, and if anyone knows more, please correct me if I am wrong. I am a huge fan of these sox.These sox were created by the Same guy who founded Smartwool. Originally he founded Smartwool and had 2 investors. Eventually they bought him out in some sort of hostile takeover, then immediately turned around and sold the company for significantly more than they had paid him. Point6 is his response to Smartwool. I believe Point6 sox all have hand stitched toes, which makes them awesome in ski boots. (and because of OSHA regulations is why they are/were all made in china). For similar models the Point6 sox are cheaper, generally by several dollars than Smartwool. I too was a big Smartwool fan until I tried Point6. Could be just because I am cheap…
