Squaw Valley‘s best pizza joint, Fireside Pizza Co., has chosen SkiDUCK as their featured non-profit for 2013! The good people at Fireside Pizza Co. are going to donate 50% of pizza slice sales from their outdoor kiosk, a portion of wine sales, an opportunity for guest to add $1 to their bill to support SkiDUCK, and they are featuring SkiDUCK on their table tents! This is an amazing opportunity for one of the best ski industry non-profits and will help raise thousands of dollars for the organization. This fundraising drive will last the entire year not just the winter, so its an incredible opportunity to help kids in need shred for FREE.
SkiDUCK is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of disabled and underprivileged children by teaching and sharing the joys of skiing and snowboarding.
We’re ENTIRELY volunteer-based (NO paid salaries!) so ALL donations received go directly to support kids’ ski and snowboard programs!
We’re committed to partnering with local organizations with similar goals of serving underprivileged youth. And in areas where these needs aren’t yet being served, we seek to establish a sustainable model of service with local resources and volunteers. It is awesome to see local biz step it up for the community, now if only they could make a decent pizza… Im pretty sure tahoe is destined to have shitty pizza, which is kinda crazy with how many of you east coasters live out here…

Ray, the owner is a cool guy. Great food, service and location. I think the Pizza is awesome. SkiDuk is a very worthwhile program. Squaw also donates the instructors and lift tickets.
