meribel pleasee yeah and also one of the lowest hills in the alps which makes it unreliable. If you like off piste i would check out oberalp gotthard region or alestch region both in switzerland, OK everybody thinks swiss is expensive but those people probably expect to stay in club med and get more wine mileage than mountain . Most trains run directly from airport to village, Hostels and mountain huts are quite popular and good standard all across swiss, Co-ops and other food shops are available in most places as you would expect from a real living working village all year round so you get the authentic village atmosphere. what else do you need if your going for powder? enjoy!!
