I think tommy and BC nailed it. Pretty lame vid until you get to the skiing and then that’s some quality beta to lock your toes when hucking or backflipping. Doesn’t look like he’s doing anything to the bindings at all except disassembling them. Sweetnot.
That said, I ski them and have for about 15 years now. 7 pairs and only broke one of the old TLT (blue/red) models and not catastrophically. It does seem like the toe of the FTz12 had some issues due to a narrower hole pattern and should be avoided, but the Vertical ST is about the best touring binding anywhere ever.
