Baxter and Bailey, two Golden Retriever Brothers, were tied together with a double leash in their front yard. Later that day the dogs owner, Penny Blackwell, noticed that they had escaped and began a search for the dogs. Friends and neighbors volunteer to help but after two weeks the dogs were still missing. “I had pretty much given up hope that they were going to come home,” Penny said.

Then Penny got a message that one of the dogs had been found. After being reunited with her pooch she took Baxter back to where he had been found. The Golden Retriever then pulling Penny down the path until finally they came upon Bailey with his leash all wrapped up around some bushes.

honestly awesome story and great dogs but they look nothing a like and I wonder if they a genuine brothers or they are just two dogs in a human family which are being referred to as brothers.

President of our ski club has Golden Retrievers. They aren’t happy if they can’t run around as a pair. One died of cancer and she had to get another one.
