NEW AIR SERVICE FROM EAST TO WEST COAST: Following a successful winter season, JHMR is pleased to announce the expansion of winter air service to nine non-stop cities, including three new cities, during the 2012-13 winter season. New service will be provided by United Airlines from Newark and San Francisco, coupled with new winter service by Delta Air Lines from Minneapolis. The new winter service will complement service provided by American Airlines from Dallas Fort Worth, Delta Air Lines from Atlanta and Salt Lake City, and United Airlines from Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles – allowing for non-stop flights from a total of nine cities.
I’m personally a fan of the SLC to Jackson flight as a huge waste of money. I looked up flights and it is MUCH cheaper to drive to Jackson and essentially takes the same amount of time considering getting to the airport early, possible flight delays, flying, getting luggage, waiting for a shuttle or rental car etc.
Just drive to Jackson.
the drive to jackson is also awesome. and theres no security checkpoint to get in my car.
i think the point of that one is that slc is a hub, not so much for salt lake area residents. But yea we used to fly to slc then take the rental car cuz it’s a nice trip and good to have a car in jackson to go to targhee etc and not have to take shuttles to get around
