A good two feet plus of fresh snow fell last night at Happo. Thats after a couple feet the day before, and a couple feet the day before that, and so on. Today was unmanageably deep. The day was a mixture of over-the-head powder skiing, digging your skis out while traversing very slowly, and watching Australian snowboarders wallow up to their necks in snow. The forecast is showing a whole lot of snow as far ahead as they predict. Life is good here in Japan.
