Yes, this news is brutal for us local snow freaks.  Where else can we afford a beer in Squaw Valley USA?

$2 PBRs are a way of life in Squaw.  You can put them in your pocket, drink them on the chair, chug them in KT line, pour them on friends, sneak them into the Chami…the possibilities are endless.

I decided to investigate this lack of PBR thoroughly:

Miles:  “When you are you guys gonna have more PBR?”

Beautiful Dave’s Deli employee:  “When the shipment gets here and you guys stop asking about it.”

Miles:  “Okay.”

Dave’s rocks!

Great Interview Miles, and when choosing Ski pants last off season, pockets big enough to hold a few PBR Tall Boys was taken heavily into consideration!!!

I assume you are currently drinking Lagunitas because you wrote “it’s on there website” It should read, it’s on their website. PBR is great beer for the budget minded. Little known fact, PBR does not brew any beer. Their (not there) beer is brewed by Miller in the U.S. and Labatt’s in Canada with PBR’s formula. As far as the less expensive American beer, PBR is damn good!

I think it might be a little while before they have PBR, I’ve been told it’s because they haven’t paid their bill.

Rich or Poor, I will drink PBR. I love me some IPA, but there’s something to say about drinking a PBR (warm or cold) in the mtns. Rainier is also a great choice when skiing at Jackson…

Wrongo…Micro brews are for hipsters with too much money. PBR is the perfect after skiing beer. $1.00 at many Squaw local bars like Auld Dubliner, Cornice Cantina and $2.00 at the The Slot Bar. Thousands of skiers on a budget can’t be wrong!!
