On June 9th, Woodward Tahoe will have it’s Grand Opening. Boreal will have a lift open and a terrain park built for skiing/riding that day. It’s been cold in Tahoe and they even got a coupla inches the past coupla days. Check the webcam below.

WOODWARD TAHOE GRAND OPENING:
- 12pm – 5pm event time
- Free to public
- Tony Hawk will be there skating
- Tanner Hall will be there wheel skiing and normal skiing
- Boreal Summer Shred Day will be open 9am-2pm and cost $25 (free is you have a 2012-13 season pass)
- Helmets required for public skate/bmx

Woodward Tahoe, located at Boreal Mountain Resort, will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, June 9 for everyone to skate and ride the newest action sports training facility on the west coast. Top athletes in attendance will include freeskier Tanner Hall, BMX rider Ryan Nyquist skateboarder Curren Caples and snowboarder Chas Guldemond, who will be part of the pro demos, open skate sessions, events, music and more. Adding to the day’s fun, the Boreal will also spin one chairlift for a Summer Shred Day for snowboarders and skiers.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC SKATE/BMX Sessions!
The Woodward Tahoe Grand Opening event is free and open to the public from 12–5pm. The Boreal Summer Shred Day will be open for a $25 day rate, or free to those who purchase 2012-13 season lift passes from 9–2pm

you know, if they manned up, they could probably keep snow out there for a really long time in summer..they don’t have to promise a date to everybody but if they could run infrequently people would rip that little slush hill all summer if they could..warehouse looks epic though!

Looks really cool, but i have a feeling they are cramming to much into one small space, and when it opens on busy days there wont be a lot of room to skate around and what not.
There’s no chimney, so you’re better off staying home..
