The Backcountry Adventure Center returns this season with professionally guided Sugar Bowl backcountry tours by Alpine Skills International and their AMGA and IFMGA-certified guides. Located in the first level of the Ski & Sports Chalet building in the Village, just across from the Lodge at Sugar Bowl at the base of the Disney Chair, the Backcountry Adventure Center offers something for everyone, from the curious-and-new-to-touring to the accomplished purist.

    Big dump tomorrow. the heavy new snow may bond poorly with the current
    “frozen spring surface”. Be careful out there
    .
    All should have beacon,shovel, probes, a buddy and know (BCA course is good) how to use the stuff.
