What is the weather in Whistler going to look like over the next two weeks? Well, those who make a living off of predicting such things have anticipated some snow as early as Saturday. Next Wednesday could also yield some snow, but there seems to be disagreement between different forecasts over the amount of precipitation there will be. I’m pulling for the forecaster who predicted 40 cm Wednesday night, so keep your fingers crossed.
Otherwise, there is a lot of variable weather and small flurries predicted until finally on Jan. 26th the thumbnail picture shows fatty flakes below the generic cloud stencil. I read that as “good chance of big snow.” Meteorologists might say it another way: there is a 63% chance that it snows in two weeks and almost 20 cm could fall that day. Hopefully, steady snow is on the way.
