Ummm, what’s an AMGA/IFMGA guide? Shouldn’t pro skiers, magazines, the big movies and their athletes be in charge of this type of education.

Bela, you are and always will be a bad ass!!!! ;-)

Bela and his guides almost got the lake run closed for everyone. They did a great job of both pissing off the locals riders/skiers and home owners alike.

Really, the home owners on Washoe, and Conifer were just so pleased about guided trips though their back yards. Their Home Owners Associations never had any meetings about the guided trips and the increase of use in recent years. They all love us. Why don’t you talk to owner of the Blue House about how she felt about the ASI trips, or the owners of the twin gated house on Conifer. You must have had plenty of conversations with people who own (not rent out) the house at the end of Tinkers. Your a retard. Things really heated up as far a access issues went when the bowl built the Summit Chair and when ASI started guiding down to the lake. There is a reason they no longer guide lake runs. Thankfully with the help of some rad people doing lots of p.r. work with the home owners, the HOA, and all of us who ski and ride lake runs things have calmed down. However, parking will be an issue again this year as the HOA does not want Tinkers Court to be a parking lot again. The Town of Truckee is not so down with the parking either, despite letting everyone get away with parking on the street for years. So get ready to do some walking and creative parking/ shuttles.
P.S. Cali born and raised. Asshole.
