I know everybody has just about had it with footage coming from Alaska. As the lay-person’s ski season shrivels up and dies, the pros go to AK and pump out the sickest shots in the land of endless spring spines. Oh yeah, they have unlimited heli time too. But you can’t cet too bitter, the best thing to do is watch the edit 3 or 4 times, pop some Ambien and slay the same lines in your sleep. The backup plan of course is to marry into a pro’s family and maybe, just maybe, you will be treated like a real brother.
In this video, Xavier De Le Rue brings his park riding brother Victor along to give him a taste of real mountains and big lines. The edit is fairly slow with limited shredding, but the dream spines are there and that is enough to fuel your spine dreams. Also, no amount of filler shots will be able to downplay the bad-ass’ry of Xavier De Le Rue. He could start releasing nothing but fishing edits and his snowboarding would still be known to reign supreme.
