This weekend should be a lot of fun here at Squaw. Being the only mountain remaining open in the tahoe basin, if not the U.S., Squaw is going to be doing what it does best – late season Spring skiing.- I don’t want to go as far as saying the hill is going to be crowded, but expect there to be crowds at the resort in general. Going off tomorrow is the long awaited Cushing Crossing, and it seems like the weather gods are preparing for a good show.- Temps will be in the mid-sixties all weekend so be sure to grab a few beverages and head over to Lake Cushing at 2 pm (or noon if you wish to partake) for the a good time. While there will be no repeat of a good Fingers show, as seen in the video above, I’m sure some locals will come up with something crazy and expect the obvious spill over into the Chamiox. Other than that there isn’t really much on the calender, so just get out there, enjoy the sun and the last days of the 08/09 winter season at Squaw! Reminder – Don’t forget that Sunday is the last day to purchase the 50/60 Anniversary Season Pass for next season.
