What do Oprah, Tom Cruise, Jerry Seinfeld and Ralph Lauren all have in common? A one time or another each of these celebrities had homes in the little mountain town of Telluride, CO. The former silver mining camp on the San Miguel River sits in a picturesque box canyon surrounded by some of the tallest mountains in the United States. It is of our unofficial opinion that real estate truly started to climb following the release of Greg Stump’s 1988 Ski Film: The Blizzard of AAHHHS.

Telluride is not worth it.. that house is not even that cool.. where is the slope side backyard with infinity hot tub?
Telluride is not worth it? Yea right. No way you have been to Telluride & can say that.
Dude, I’m talking about an almost 5 million dollar house jacky, for that much money there are a lot of places where you can get a hell of a lot more. Telluride itself is awesome, because of this it’s over priced.
Pretty sure you could get something nicer in Whistler.
yea i’d say it’d be pretty worth it. plus it sure would be nice to crash there for the bluegrass festival in the summer…
Sorry I don’t wanna pay a couple extra million to have a movie star neighbor, that I’ll never see. You guys should see what over 4 million dollars will get you at Kirkwood, then come talk.
There isn’t anything in Kirkwood…
Telluride has an awesome free box.
Lauren’s spread is a ways outside Telluride.
Looks like the street tha Steve Martin movie Roxanne was filmed on.
Telluride blows.
The skiing stinks.
Too many bumps.
No snow.
Crummy terrain park.
Lousy touring.
Overpriced Victorian homes.
I’d stick with squaw or kirkwood.
I’m sorry that your still skiing the groomers.
Telluride is a far better summer town. Free list access DH, decent features and technical race course… and festivals with free beer. thats enough for me.
That’s a sick wine rack though
it smells of rich mohaganey
