A number of skiers and boarders have been reported to have been seen jumping across a famous US Highway in Montana.

A tourist from Australia who witnessed the jumpers told local media, “They’re mad.  Just absolutely mad,” adding, “It’s just silly. Silly, silly, silly.”

The Beartooth Highway near Yellowstone National Park was closed recently due to a snowstorm but when it reopened skiers and boarders set out to build a gap jump over the highway.

The local police said that there was in fact a law against ski jumping over a highway
