The Sierra is in the midst of a warm atmospheric river event and like we predicted, the high elevation resorts are seeing the biggest snow totals.

Mammoth, June, Kirkwood, and Mt Rose are all reporting over 20″ of new snow out of this system and more is on the way with temperatures dropping tonight. Expect snow levels to also fall to lake level by this evening (*Thursday). Lake Tahoe ski areas will see snow materialize in a big way by Friday afternoon.
