Yoshi the dog is safe at home in Denver thanks to two brave climbers that snapped into action after the search and rescue team determined a rescue attempt was too dangerous.

Yoshi got cliffed out on Berthoud Pass after getting separated from his owner while skiing.  The dog had nowhere to go with a 120 cliff below and steep terrain above.  Thankfully two brave climbers that happened to be in the area, sized up the situation, made a plan and brought Yoshi down to safety.  Happy ending.

Remember folks, having your dog with you in the backcountry is one of the greatest joys in life but also comes with massive responsibility.  Be careful, be safe, have fun.
