“Let’s raise 5.5 million dollars and air the first crowd-sourced Super Bowl ad to raise awareness about Global warming.” – Julian Carr, Pro Skier

In what is likely one of the most ambitious campaigns to raise money in the name of climate action, Julian Carr is helping kickstart the #AirMyGlobalWarmingAd movement.

The goal of the campaign is to raise $5.5 million, the approximate price tag for a 0:30 super bowl advertisement. With that money in the bank, the ad would stand a good chance of being aired on Super Bowl Sunday, which averages some 172 million viewers each year. The ad hopes to spur awareness as well as provide a very broad, next step forward message concerning creating an energy infrastructure that is sustainable.
