If you’re hesitant to take avalanche advice from a guy skiing in jeans who can’t load a chairlift, your instincts are correct. This guy is named Dick Aspen, don’t be like Dick.
There are people like Dick out there in the real world. People who’s unearned confidence in the backcountry and phony avalanche safety training can lead to serious and unnecessary situations.
