Officials for the Basin, including GM Al Henceroth, have been tight lipped about any plans to open this weekend or next. Over a foot of new snow in addition to productive snowmaking temps is not making that effort any easier.
Yesterday, the storm itself knocked out power at the Summit County ski area, leaving only one webcam operational for the day. Lucky for us– they got the cameras back up and running and the shots from this morning are stunning.
