God damn this is good shit from an Olympic snowboarder with zero-fucks. While everyone else is freaking out on Facebook, trying to convince you the world will end if Trump sends another tweet– Here come’s Nate Holland with some seriously refreshing sarcasm.
“You’ve got Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump, two level-headed guys, solving the world’s problems – what could go wrong?”
Most athletes would balk at such a statement, fearing IOC or US Olympic Committee feedback but not this guy. Not Nate Holland by God and he didn’t stop there. He went off in an interview with the AFP.
“I guess if we’re going down, we’re going down as a family.”
Yes. FUCK YES. That is a teammate for ya. Who wouldn’t want this guy in the starting gate with that ‘nothing to lose’ look before pushing off in search of gold. Again– it doesn’t stop there. The guy hasn’t even officially made the team…
“I’ll get a couple World Cup podiums, make the team then go to South Korea and throw down a few haymakers…I enjoy South Korea for its hotpots and karaoke…We got to have a great time there.”
Holy moley. Talk about the HUEVOS on this dude. He went on to explain that falling just outside the podium in Vancouver makes it worth working out like a psycho before going home and changing diapers. Not only is Holland a world cup champ but he’s also a dad. If NBC doesn’t air this man’s qualifying runs, they’ll be doing a disservice to America. I think we can all get behind Nate Holland.
