Telluride this morning | Cover: Monarch Mountain, CO

From southwest to central Colorado, high country residents are waking up to snowy peaks. Monarch Mountain in particular walked outside to a DEEP deck after a September storm dumped what looks to be upwards of 6″ in some locations.

Wolf Creek also seems neck in neck with Monarch yet no official word as to how much snow they got. We’d say it looks to be around 6″ as well. Telluride, Crested Butte, Loveland, and A-Basin all got in on the action but the snow totals seems to be around the 1-2″ range.

*That’s pretty good for 9/28.
