The Old Farmer’s Almanac is slowly letting its forecasts trickle down region by region and this week they graced us with the northeast, which looks to have a great early season followed by a not-so-great spring.

To start off the season (*we’re looking at you Killington, Sunday River, Sugarloaf, and Jay Peak…), November is forecasted to see snow accompanied by cold temps making for what could be some of the best early season conditions in years for New England.

Follow that trend until January, when warm temps may spoil the party. Those warms temps will pervade the rest of the season save for a short reprieve in February.
