“Little Billy causing a big avalanche… dude… that’s insane”

I realize that Australians might not see a lot of avalanches but this type of thing is anything but “funny.”

Billy could have gotten really hurt but still his friends aren’t too scared and that’s probably the worst thing about the video. Although we’re not entirely sure, by looking at the amount of tracks it appears as though the slide occurred outside the boundary of Perisher. According to the video’s comment section, Billy is claiming to have had a beacon on underneath his jacket. Still, a beacon is just one of three essential pieces of avalanche gear. #KBYG
