Where the weed grows like weeds and stoners flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I’m talking about a little place called Nipton, California.
Recently the marijuana powerhouse, American Green Inc purchased this 80 acre desert town with less than 20 residents for approximately $5 million in order to create what they are calling a “cannabis friendly hospitality destination.” The town includes a hotel, RV park, and some limited vendors around town including the Nipton Trading Post.
By picking up the land, executives with American Green Inc hope to create the first American town where residents can safely and sustainably prioritize Cannabis as the singular, major attraction. Part of that marketing and sales plan calls for cannabis infused water that takes advantage of the tasty liquid from the town’s resident aquifer. So far development plans for the town have been kept under wraps but we seriously hope they include an In-N-Out burger.
*Those are good burgers dude.
