A sex offender who has been linked to multiple cases of pederasty on the slopes of Lake Tahoe ski areas has been caught by Santa Clara police reports The Sacramento Patch.

Police arrested the suspect from San Jose in Santa Clara and later realized he had been previously linked to 7 different instances of indecent exposure in Placer County, California.

On Sunday, Santa Clara police caught 34 year-old, Wellington Potter after he exposed himself to two young girls from the confines of his VW Jetta. That incident was the second recorded instance of pederasty in Santa Clara. The first offense occurred just days prior when Wellington exposed himself in the midst of a sexual act to a 9 year-old child

After catching Wellington, local police found discovered that he had previously committed 7 similar offenses in the Lake Tahoe region at various ski areas. Victims ranged in ages from 7-30 years old.
