In an effort to prevent forest fires some Colorado residents are using a low tech solution for removing dry brush that can create dangerous conditions around their homes…goats. The goats offer an environmentally friendly alternative to having crews with chainsaws and diesel powered grinders take care of the work. The 300 goat herd will be work at 5 different Colorado communities over the next few weeks.
