The Zenbivy Bed ($249) is a very interesting hybrid sleeping bag/mattress concept for those of us who value our sleep while enjoying an outdoor excursion. As much as I enjoy roughing it, quality sleeping is integral to a sustained good time and a product like this might be just what the doctor ordered for backcountry Zzz’s.
The largest sized Zenbivy Bed weighs 44 ounces, well above the average weight of average ultralight sleeping bags at 19 ounces. So you will definitely sacrifice comfort on the trail for comfort at the campsite but all trips are different and priorities range so this might just be right up your alley.
