Winter is full on in Colorado and in case you’re wondering there’s only 12 days till June 1st, which is about as awesome as it gets for late season skiing.

With 21″ in the last 3 days, Arapahoe Basin is looking down the barrel of another powder day and from what we’re seeing, it’ll be mid-winter for the first couple hours today. But the real new is Pali reopens today and will be open Saturday and Sunday as well. A-Basin COO,  said he’s not sure if they’ll keep it open past that.

“Carpooling is absolutely encouraged, and the Summit Stage bus will be running on Saturday and Sunday from Keystone’s River Run lot.”Arapahoe Basin Facebook Page

Since they’re the only ones currently spinning lifts in Colorado, you can bet your bottom dollar traffic and parking will be an issue today and tomorrow. We suggest carpooling unless you’re forced to drive solo at which point you should park at Keystone and take the shuttle up to the Basin.

Official Conditions Report

Winter returned Wednesday night and looks to provide snow through today. Healthy conditions are in play all over the hill. Patrol worked hard to open the Pali terrain yesterday afternoon and it will be open today. The groomers will be soft and off piste will be softer. Difficult to suggest specific runs because if the coverage means the skiing’s great. Everywhere. Come up and get some. GL
